All staff and volunteers must receive training on autism, behaviour management, and de-escalation techniques.
Staff and volunteers must maintain a safe and secure environment by supervising children at all times, monitoring any aggression or self-injurious behaviour, and intervening appropriately to prevent harm.
The BBLC centre must maintain a clean and hygienic environment, and follow proper sanitation protocols to prevent the spread of illnesses.
The BBLC centre must have a plan in place for administering medication to children, and staff must be properly trained to administer medication.
